For admission into 1st year B.Tech programme a student has to appear for Joint Entrance Examination (JEE-Main) conducted by CBSE. For details visit www.jeemain.nic.in. As it stands now, Govt. of Odisha is not going to conduct OJEE, hence JEE (Main) entrance is the only roadway to take admission into 1st year B.Tech Programmes offered by us. Exams shall be held online or offline as per the choice of the student.

Elligibility | Engineering / Technology : GATE qualified candidates or pass or appearing B.Tech/B.E examination from a recognized university with CGPA 6.5 (10 point scale) or 60% marks. GATE qualified candidates or pass or appearing in MCA examination from a recognized university with CGPA 6.5 or 60% marks only for M. Tech in Computer Science and Computer science & IT branches.
(a) Preference will be given to candidates having a valid GATE score and
(b) non-GATE candidates having a minimum of 60% in aggregate OR CGPA of 6.5/10 at B.Tech./B.E level can also apply. Non-GATE candidates are required to appear at an On-line Test; GATE candidates are exempted from this test.
