TSM initially offered only Executive Development courses till the year 1971. MBA courses were offered part-time from 1972. Full-time MBA courses were offered from the year 1986. Full-time MCA courses were offered from the year 1994. And the last batch of MCA courses was offered for the year 2009 as the same was discontinued from the year 2010.

Currently, TSM offers PGDM and MBA programmes which are approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and accredited by National Board of Accreditation (NBA), New Delhi, and has been conferred autonomous status by the UGC and Madurai Kamaraj University (MKU). TSM has also got the candidacy status for Accreditation with ACBSP (Accreditation Council for Business School & Programs)

Elligibility : Graduate in any discipline or will be graduating by May 2017.

TSM uses CAT/MAT/CMAT/XAT/NMAT to short list candidates for the two-year full time Post Graduate Programmes in Management. The IIMs/XLRI or any other agencies play no role either in the TSM admission process or in the actual conduct of TSM programmes. Selection will be, inter alia, based on CAT/MAT/XAT/CMAT/NMAT taken in May 2016 or later, previous academic performance and the performance during the personal interview. If the candidate has taken more than one test, the candidate is required to furnish ALL their test scores. The best test score after moderation will be considered for evaluation.

The Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM)

The Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) is TSM’s FLAGSHIP Management Programme. It has been benchmarked against the top three IIMs (Ahmedabad, Bangalore, and Calcutta) and XLRI Jamshedpur and as such, in terms of design and inputs, is comparable to the best management programmes in the country.

Students graduating from TSM’s Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) Programme will be awarded and AICTE recognized Diploma, which will be globally accepted by industry and academia.

TSM PGDM programme has been designed to transform young aspirants into role-ready professionals. The course seeks to meet the changing expectations of the corporate world as they continuously reposition themselves to the dynamics of a globally connected environment. The emphasis is to help the PGDM participants develop broader managerial and leadership attributes beyond functional knowledge. This includes developing a robust value system, strong analytical, quantitative, and application skills, effective communications, holistic business perspective, adaptability and interpersonal skills. The PGDM curriculum and pedagogy have been carefully structured to achieve this intent.

The Master of Business Administration (MBA)

TSM MBA Programme is a general Management Programme, with opportunity for functional specialization, TSM has set a quality policy that emphasizes on developing young Management Graduates who, besides meeting the immediate needs and expectations of the industry, would also evolve into empowered individuals with an urge for constant and continuous learning and bias for action. The Programme is spread over 6 trimesters equally spread over the 2 years, with each trimester of approximately 12 weeks duration.

Graduating students will be awarded a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Madurai Kamaraj University which is approved by AICTE and received accreditation from NBA.
