NEET 2023 Exam Dates Released – Check Complete Schedule | UG MBBS Course
- Now adhaar card is not mandatory to fill the NEET application form.
- Candidates can fill application by mentioning alternative Identification Number such as Ration Card, Passport, Bank Account No. or other valid Government ID (such as Driving License, Voter ID etc.).
- Indian students who wish to pursue MBBS/BDS from a foreign Medical Institute, they have qualify NEET (UG) examination.

- No. of Question: Total 180 questions will be asked in the exam.
- Exam Mode: Exam will be conducted through offline mode (pen and paper based mode).
- Type of Question: There will be objective type questions (four options with one correct answer).
- Subjects: Questions will be asked from Physics, Chemistry & Biology (Zoology & Botany) subjects.
- Exam Duration: The exam duration will be 3 hours.
- Language: Question paper will be asked in 11 languages like English, Hindi, Tamil, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Oriya, Urdu Marathi and Telugu languages.
- Marking Scheme: Four marks will be given for each correct answer (+4 Marks).
- Negative Marking: One mark will be deducted for each wrong answer (-1 Mark).

How many attempts are there for NEET ?
- From the year 2023, candidates can get the maximum attempt limit. There may be 9 attempts (GEN/OBC category) & 14 attempts (Reserved category) to qualify the NEET exam.

- There is no limit to the number of attempts. One can attempt AIIMS till 30 years of age.
