Introduction 
  • Narayan Medical College and Hospital (NMCH) got the approval to start MBBS course from 2008-09 academic year. After recommendation by the Medical Council of India (MCI), the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare approved MBBS program for 100 seats, which has been now increased to 150 Seats from the year 2018 after recommendation by the Medical Council of India (MCI) to the Central Government. NMCH will always strive to scale new parameters in the field of health education and research.

Introduction

  • The ENT department of Narayan Medical College was visited by a 35 year old who complained that she had intermittent pain in nose,  then the pain was radiating to left eye ball  followed by headache.
  • The x-ray revealed that there was an irregular calcified density was present in the left nasal activity. This was accompanied by opacity.
  • The doctors in Narayan Medical College Hospital Sasaram believed it to be Rhinoliths – a rare nasal masses and considered to be related with the presence of foreign bodies.
  • The rhinolith was successfully removed by giving the patient local anesthesia. It has been six months and it was reported that the lady patient has no pain, which she was suffering from last 6 years.
