Introduction

TAPMI – Manipal (popularly known by its acronym TAPMI) is a private autonomous business school in India. It was established in 1980 and is located in the university town of Manipal in Karnataka. It is the second B-School in India to get global accreditation to the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) after Indian School of Business.CRISIL graded TAPMI as A*** B-School both at national and Karnataka State levels for three consecutive years.

TAPMI’s Programmes

TAPMI’s programmes include a two-year residential post-graduate diploma in management, post-graduate programmes in healthcare management, banking and financial services, a Ph. D. programme, and an 18-month joint TAPMI and University of Dubai MBA programme. TAPMI collaborates with a number of business organisations to provide continuous learning and education to their executives.
TAPMI conducts student and faculty exchanges with Sheffield Hallam University, UK, Macquarie University, Australia and with the Asian Institute of Management, Manila.

1.PGDM | TAPMI’s two-year Post Graduate Diploma in Management is designed to push students to go beyond their constraints and redraw their boundaries to achieve excellence in business.

2.PGDM – Healthcare | TAPMI’s two-year PGDM – Healthcare creates leaders for the healthcare sector. Students learn and apply comprehensive managerial and technical expertise required to tackle the challenges of today’s complex global healthcare system.

3.PGDM – BKFS | The PGDM-Banking and Financial Services course is built on a unique curriculum structure that fortifies a student’s skills and knowledge in finance.
4.Exchange Programs | The T. A. Pai Management Institute (TAPMI) signed an MoU with Macquarie University, Sydney, Australia on April 28, 2015.
5.Executive Education | TAPMI has a rich experience in conducting both short-term and long-term executive education programs through its campus in Manipal, as well as its executive education center in Bangalore.
6.PhD | TAPMI’s vision to raise the standard of management education in India through path-breaking, pioneering research is realized through the PhD program.

Students at TAPMI come from varied backgrounds and disciplines. Admissions at TAPMI is a two-stage process.
Valid CAT/XAT/GMAT scores are mandatory prerequisites to qualify for the admission process consisting of WAT(Written admission test) and Personal Interviews or other evaluation components the Institute deems fit.
Students with academic excellence and relevant work experience, are shortlisted and invited to participate in the subsequent TAPMI Admissions Process.
