Introduction

The JD Institute of Fashion Technology is the educational division of JD Educational Trust, with learning centers spread across India. The institute was founded on 12 October 1988 in Mumbai, India. It provides multi-disciplinary education in the field of Fashion and Interior design studies.
The institute has cooperated with members of the industry like Fashion Design Council of India and is a regular contributor to the development of the Indian Fashion Industry, participating in exhibitions, fashion weeks and other social and charity events.
Additionally, JD Educational Trust is a member of various bodies such as Indo Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Indo French Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Turkish Chamber of Commerce.

JD Institute of Fashion Technology is the educational wing of JD Educational Trust, one of the oldest institute of art and design in India. The foundation was cemented by Mr. Chandrakant Dalal (President) and Mr. RC Dalal (Executive Director and Co-Founder of Indian Film Festival Worldwide). It was started in the year 1988 in Mumbai, India and with a prolific legacy of 30 years, JD Institute offers plethora of courses in the field of Fashion Design, Interior Design, Jewellery Design, Fashion Communication, Fashion Entrepreneurship, Fashion Management, Visual Merchandising, Fashion Photography, Make-up artistry.
