Subbaiah Institute of Medical Science is a unit of TadikelaSubbaiah Trust (R), Shimoga, (Karnataka), India. The Trust formed in the year 2003 by Sri. T.Subbaramaiah,an agriculturist by calling, and a visionary, imbued with a zeal for taking education and research to regions that would remain seamless in their sweep and sway.As the head of his family, Sri Subbaramaiah believed that even the longest journey begins with the first step. What then could be surer of foot than beginning it from one’s own family?

Citizenship | Indian nationals.

Age | The candidates should have completed 17 years of age on or before 31st day of December of the year of admission
Qualification | Pass in 10+2, A level, IB, American 12th grade or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English individually with a minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology taken together.
The minimum marks required for the admission should be 50% in PUC (PCB) or any other equivalent examination for the candidates of General Category. For the candidates belonging to SC/ST, the minimum percentage of marks required for the admission process should be 40% in PCB. Preference will be given to the merit students.
